Fascinating Kashmir

On arrival at Jammu Airport/ Railway Station, will proceed to Katra. Upon arrival check into your hotel. Rest of the days is at your leisure. In the Evening we will start Walking towards Mata Vaishnodevi Temple. It will take almost 4 to 5 Hrs to reach at the top by walking. We have a 2nd option to Take a Pony for the Journey, it will take us to the top in 3 to 4 Hrs. and the 3rd Option is Helicopter which will take us to the Top in day time. Back to the Hotel and Overnight at Hotel in Katra. (In case you want travel by Helicopter 40 Days before Advance Booking.

After breakfast, will check out from hotel and transfer to Srinagar on arrival check in to the hotel Evening free for leisure/shopping (At Own). Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world and also called Meadow of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (World’s Highest) and is also famous for winter sports like skiing etc. You can enjoy a Gondola ride from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak. From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

After buffet breakfast check out from the Houseboat and drive to Sonmarg on arrival check in to the hotel after that will explore Sonmarg, located at 2,690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on a horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year. In the evening, return to hotel. Overnight stay in Sonmarg

After breakfast, will proceed to sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Visit Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), The Chasme Shahi Garden & Shankaracharya Temple & Tulip garden (01st to 15th April Only). Later will transfer to the Houseboat. After check-in at the houseboat, you can relax for a while. Later in the evening, proceed for a shikara ride in Dal Lake. Overnight stay in Srinagar at the Houseboat.

After breakfast, will check out from houseboat and will proceed toward Pahalgam (7200 fts) “Village of Shepherds “en-route visiting the world famous saffron growing fields, Awantipura ruins (9th century) & Martand Temple (Sun temple). Pahalgam also famous for Indian film industry, some tracking routs & also base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Overnight stay in Pahalgam

Arrival at Srinagar airport, will proceed toward Pahalgam (7200 fts) on arrival Sightseeing of Betaab Valley, Aru Valley & Chandanwari. We will start the trip to Chandanwadi. On the way to Chandanwari, we will visit the valley which was named Betaab after the Bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed as a major part of the movie was shot here.

Later visit Chandarwadi which is the Starting point of Shrine Amarnathji Yatra. Point is excellent and one can enjoy snow activities here. Post lunch or as time permits, proceed for a trip to Aru Valley. Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows and mountains. It is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies on the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder River. Overnight at the hotel in Pahalgam.
